I have been practicing gynecology in Bloomfield for 41-years and have developed a close relationship with the Hartford community. After finishing my medical training in India in 1969 and completing a year of training in Urology,  I came to the states and completed a rotating internship at Vasser Brother's Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY followed by a residency in General Surgery at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. After spending one year there, I decided to do a three-year residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford under Dr. Michael Baggish and became a board certified Obstetrics & Gynecologist, starting my own practice in 1975. 

 

After practicing obstetrics for almost 30-years, I made the difficult decision to stop and instead, focused 100% of my attention on gynecologic problems related to infertility, pelvic pain, fibroids, menopause and aging. I offer many treatment options including different surgical procedures for gynecologic issues and symptoms and take pride in the individualized approach that comes with my family run, private practice. 

 

When I'm not busy working or researching the latest in medical news, I enjoy listening to and writing music, traveling abroad, spending time with my daughters and grandchildren and of course, my loyal rescue dog, Lola.
